MDF 2013

Had a blast this weekend. Ass kicking sets from Sacred Reich, Midnight, Venom, Iron Lung, Vitamin X, Sleep, Macgrudergrind, Carcass and others. Infest set suffered a bit from the big room loud clicky kick drum sound but overall this was a great set. People going off, good mix of tunes... First show the days turn black 7" was available at.

The wait is over. The leftovers of the leftovers have finally surfaced. 4 unreleased songs that sat for 18 years on the original nms tapes have now been released. A short 1 sided 7" with 3 originals (1 very short instrumental) and the long rumored Negative Approach cover that was supposed to be on the reproach comp ugly pop records put out. The first press was available at MDF & Chaos in Tejas.  If this blog has shown you anything there will be variations.

Yes its true...

Speculated on elsewhere in the blog, there will be a limited one sided 4 song 7" available at MDF and Tejas. It will feature the "leftovers of the leftovers" from the NMS sessions (2 short songs, 1 even shorter instrumental, and the long rumored Negative Approach cover) Drawblank CEO says it will be limited to somewhere around 1000 copies and available only at these 2 shows. So you better get your ass to TEJAS and start waiting on the merch line now. Or you could always just buy the normal press when it comes out on deepsix sometime this summer.

I'm sure everyone already knows, but single day tickets for MDF went on sale today(now sold out). Infest have also been added to the Chaos in Tejas party weekend. There is talk of a show happening in Miami sometime this winter. I'm sure there will be some other shows announced soon so keep your ear to the internet.
